Comments by Jake:  Ok, so it was Germany but still, Todd Redmond threw a two-hitter?  And we gave him up for Tyler ‘Broken Down, Can’t Find the Plate’ Yates?  Like the Gorzy deal, Neal Huntington and his staff of scouts missed the boat letting soft-tosser Redmond go.

And has anybody but me noticed where Jim Bowie and Eddie Rodriguez have Pedro Alvarez batting?  Seventh.  Sure, he’s only in his first pro year but considering the praise on the guys swing, that’s not much confidence from his manager. I’m reading too much into this.  Right?  Hmm..
